Tata Energy Renewable Power Restricted (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Energy receives the ‘Letter of Award’ (LoA) from the Maharashtra State Electrical energy Distribution Company Restricted (MSEDCL) to arrange 150MW photo voltaic mission in Solapur, Maharashtra.
The LoA was gained by way of tariff-based aggressive bidding adopted by an e-Reverse public sale. The mission will likely be commissioned inside 18 months from the PPA execution date.
On the mission win, Mr. Ashish Khanna, CEO, Tata Energy Renewable Power Restricted, stated, “We really feel honoured to obtain the LoA from MSEDCL for the 150MW photo voltaic mission. The award is according to our dedication to create a sustainable ecosystem for transitioning in the direction of a greener future and affirms our potential to ship a world-class photo voltaic initiatives.”
With this, the overall renewables capability of TPREL reaches 5,786 MW with an put in capability of three,877 MW (Photo voltaic – 2,949 MW & Wind – 928 MW) and 1,909 MW below varied phases of implementation.
