Photo voltaic PV gear supplier Mondragon Meeting has acquired an order from BVG India to develop a multi-gigawatt automated PV manufacturing line.
The brand new line will encompass a primary part of 500MW automated photo voltaic PV manufacturing line that can produce 182mm (M10) half-cut cells.
Situated within the north of India, it would produce greater than 2,000 modules per day and is anticipated to be operational in the course of the second quarter of 2023.
Making an allowance for the quick altering PV module and cell applied sciences, the road will likely be upgradable to next-generation modules and cell sizes between 158mm to 210mm (M3 to M12) and as much as 15BB, with the choice to supply glass-glass in addition to glass-backsheet modules.
J S Bhatia, COO of BVG Clear Power, stated: “There’s enormous demand of high-quality and high-wattage modules in India and in international locations just like the US, Europe, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. With this new world class line, we need to reap the benefits of this market scenario with making EPC tasks viable to develop with high quality and aggressive pricing.”
Mondragon Meeting launched final 12 months an automatic bussing machine in an effort to focus on the heterojunction (HJT) and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) markets.
