

Madison Gas and Electric (MGE), in partnership with We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service (WPS), has obtained approval from the Public Service Fee of Wisconsin to buy photo voltaic vitality and battery storage from the Darien Photo voltaic Vitality Middle.
MGE will personal 25 MW of photo voltaic vitality and seven.5 MW of battery storage from the 250 MW photo voltaic and 75 MW battery storage facility in Rock and Walworth Counties in southern Wisconsin.

We Energies and WPS will personal the remaining 225 MW of the photo voltaic output and 67.5 MW of battery storage from the undertaking. Invenergy LLC is the undertaking developer. The power is predicted to start serving clients by the top of 2024.
