Canadian Solar Inc.’s CSI Power Storage, which is a part of its majority-owned CSI Photo voltaic Co. Ltd. subsidiary, is launching SolBank, a proprietary battery answer for utility-scale purposes. CSI Power Storage can be increasing its battery manufacturing capability from the prevailing 2.5 GWh to 10 GWh by the tip of 2023.
The SolBank is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry-based battery enclosure with as much as 2,800 kWh of usable vitality capability, particularly engineered for security and reliability for utility-scale purposes. The SolBank is designed with liquid cooling and humidity management, energetic balancing battery administration system (BMS) applied sciences, and complies with the newest worldwide security and compliance requirements.
