Built Robotics, a developer of building autonomy options, has launched its new totally autonomous RPD 35 photo voltaic piling system, which might assemble utility-scale photo voltaic foundations as much as 5 instances quicker than the market customary.
The RPD 35 combines surveying, pile distribution, pile driving and inspection. Constructed’s building AI software program works in tandem with a customized pile cartridge system and superior sensors (like RTK GPS) so a two-person crew can set up upwards of 300 piles per day.
“Photo voltaic piling is a tricky, repetitive job, one well-suited to automation,” says Noah Prepared-Campbell, founder and CEO of Constructed Robotics. “Our piling robots will dramatically enhance the effectivity of staff on job websites, which is essential within the chronically tight building labor market. And simply as importantly, they are going to take folks out of hurt’s method, decreasing noise publicity, pressure, struck-by and pinch hazards.”
